Duncan office complex robbed

The theft was obvious to all involved in when employees at a downtown office complex returned to work Tuesday morning.

But the break-and-enter was another question altogether.

According to Const.  Markus Lueder of North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP, investigators found no indication of forced entry to the exterior of the complex, located in the 200-block of Canada Avenue in Duncan.

But thieves somehow managed to get inside to steal two computers and target two safes after forcing their way into four businesses inside.

Police ask anyone with information regarding these break-and-enters to call the local detachment or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
