Duncan angling for national title
Are you hooked on the idea that Duncan is Canada’s ultimate fishing town?
Then vote, and help our town in a bid to win a $25,000 prize and a feature on the World Fishing Network, North America’s only 24-hour fishing lifestyle network.
Duncan was nominated as the best place to fish in Canada as part of the 2011 WFN Ultimate Fishing Town contest.
According to a WFN press release, residents can support the nomination and help reel in a win by adding photos, videos and essays about Duncan at www.wfnfishingtown.com.
The first round of public voting will be open from April 12 to May 3. Eighteen finalists and six wild card entrants selected by WFN, will advance to the final round of voting from May 10-31, 2011.
The results will be announced in June.
