Dix hands the Routleys their duties

Cowichan Valley MLA Bill Routley has retained his role as the official opposition’s deputy forestry critic under new party leader Adrian Dix.

NDPer Routley backs Norm Macdonald in scrutinizing Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations.

Nanaimo-North Cowichan MLA Doug Routley, meanwhile, has been named the NDP’s critic for Citizens’ Services and Open Government.

Dix, who was selected party leader April 17, announced his shadow cabinet on April 26.
