Jail time for Lake Cowichan assault
A 2010 assault has landed Ronald Gregory Gibbs five months jail time.
Gibbs, 50, was convicted of assault causing bodily harm in connection with an Aug. 3, 2010 incident in Lake Cowichan. In addition to jail time, Gibbs will be under a probation order for 24 months, with conditions. He’s also been required to provide a DNA sample, and is prohibited from holding firearms.
