Significant snowfall warning in effect for Cowichan
A significant snowfall warning is in effect for the Cowichan Valley.
Environment Canada issued the severe weather warning at 10:16 a.m. Tuesday.
“Local snowfall amounts of up to 15 centimeters can be expected over higher terrain this afternoon, through Wednesday morning,” the warning reads.
The storm is the result of a Pacific low-pressure system approaching the province's south coast.
