Two more boat motors stolen in Cowichan
Two more boat motors have been stolen from Cowichan homes.
Readers may remember a motor being taken from Deborah Drive in late February, and another from Lakes Road in early March.
Now two more can be added to the tally.
North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP say one was taken from the 3000 block of Allenby Road sometime during the night of March 15 or early morning of March 16. The motor is described as a 1998 15-horsepower Evinrude Tiller Outboard, grey in color.
Another motor, plus equipment, was taken from a residence in the 9000 block of Chemainus Road sometime between March 9 and 16. That motor is described as a 10-year-old Mercury 7.5-horsepower 2-stroke, blue in colour. Also taken were two five-gallon gas cans, red in colour, as well as a fish finder.
Anyone with information regarding the thefts is asked to contact the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at 250-748-5522 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
