Police are investigating a break-and-enter at Khowutzun Forest Services, where a water pump was stolen earlier this week.

The red-and-silver Honda Stryker water pump (described as a GX240 Max, 8HP, 242cc model) was reported stolen to the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP on May 9.

"The compound had been broken into sometime overnight," Cpl. Kevin Day explained.

Police continue to investigate. Anyone with information about this break-and-enter theft is asked to contact the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at 250-748-5522 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
