Blackberries, iPhones boosted during Cowichan Sound & Cellular robbery Sunday
Blackberries, iPhones and other electronic gear was stolen during Sunday's burglary to Cowichan Sound & Cellular, Shawnigan Lake RCMP say.
Police answered a 3:40 a.m. break-in alarm at the Deloume Road store, where they found a rock had been tossed through the front door.
"An undetermined amount of electronic items have been stolen," Sgt. Rob Webb says in a release.
"The majority appear to be iPhones and Blackberries. The Island District Police Dog Service and Forensic Identification Unit are assisting in the ongoing investigation."
