Duncan man facing weapons charges

A 28-year-old Duncan man faces numerous property and weapons charges following a break, enter and theft.
Steven Sharanowski was arrested near the scene with property in his possession allegedly stolen from a residence where a break-in was reported to North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP Feb. 13.
Cpl. Krista Hobday noted Sharanowski is well-known to police.
He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing and eventual trial.
