Dougan's Lake crash yields minor injuries
Minor injuries were suffered during a rear-end accident Friday afternoon during work on a disabled fuel truck near Dougan's Lake, Cowichan Bay's fire chief said.
Ken Bulcock said the rig was being fixed at about 3:25 p.m. while highways crews rerouted snarled traffic, when a motorist tried to pull a vehicle around the scene and was hit by another vehicle.
Further details about the injuries, damages and any charges were unavailable deadline Friday.
