Budweiser hockey commercial partly shot in Cowichan Bay
Budweiser beer boosters tapped Cowichan Bay's beauty Tuesday during filming of a commercial, Film Cowichan's Louise McMurray says.
"The industry is becoming more familiar with our beautiful area," she said.
Work by crews for the brew giant saw a fishing boat rented from a local family for shooting work on the bay, for an ad campaign celebrating hockey, she explained.
The Cow Bay segment will join footage captured in other areas of B.C. for the Bud ad.
"We've had some photo shoots here, but not major commercial work in quite a while," McMurray noted.
