Maple Bay residents forum discusses vision for their community

The future of Maple Bay will be discussed by bay residents and other Cowichanians during Tuesday's public forum in Maple Bay Fire Hall.

The Nov. 26 gathering, hosted by the Maple Bay Community Association, starts at 7 p.m.

The community's vision will focus on identifying what is valued by residents, review a mission statement about how to accomplish that local vision, plus plan components and processes to develop the details.

A North Cowichan planning department staffer will provide a brief overview of how Maple Bay now fits into the municipality's official community plan.
