A two-car incident involving a Prius rear-ended by a Hyundai Accent happened in the northbound lane of Trans-Canada Highway just north of Somenos overpass at 12:30 p.m. Friday.

RCMP said a deer ran in front of the Prius. There were no serious injuries.

North-bound traffic was snarled for about an hour as Crofton fire crews assessed the damages.
