• Running until Feb. 7 at PORTALS in the Island Savings Centre is Beautiful Faces With Voices a photo exhibit combining the talents of Heidi Mendenhall, Kim Simmonds, Tammy Coyston-Lloyd, Lisa Petterson, Lindsay Scribner, Cim MacDonald, and Kerry Davis. Calendars will be sold to help the Cowichan Women Against Violence Society. Mendenhall will be present Feb. 6 between noon and 3 p.m. to do face painting demonstrations.
