A search for a missing Duncan man ended happily Friday.

Eric Jensen, 23, was located in Mill Bay Friday night, safe and sound, his father, Carl, told the News Leader Pictorial this morning.

A search bolstered by RCMP Air Services out of Comox was launched after he left home Aug. 20 under circumstances that gave his family cause for concern.

A search of expected locations, as well as local hotels and hospitals failed to locate him, but police found him Friday at Mill Bay Centre.

Carl Jensen said he was grateful for the community's support during the search.
