For years, the poor working stiffs of British Columbia have had to endure the long, hard slog between Labour Day and Easter.
At times it was three solid months without a long weekend as we trudge through some of the greyest, dullest weather our country has to offer.
No more. It’s Family Day to the rescue on Monday.
Enjoy your day off.
This we don’t
Maybe Family Day is such a new concept Cowichan really hasn’t decided what to do with it yet.
But we should offer a few words of advice to those eagerly anticipating some sort of community celebration marking our latest statutory holiday: maybe you should think about planning your own.
From what we’ve been able to determine, Cowichan has very little planned.
