Challenging time for curlers
Kerry Park Curling Club is hosting the South Island Challenge for the Dominion Curling Club championship.
Top teams from Kerry Park, Duncan, Lake Cowichan, Nanaimo, Victoria, Esquimalt, Glen Meadows and Juan de Fuca Curling Clubs are taking part.
Opening ceremonies are at 5 p.m. Friday. Draw times Friday are at 6:30 p.m. for the women and 9:15 for the men.
Play continues Saturday and Sunday.
The winners earn the right to represent the south island in the 12th Pacific International Cup at the Richmond Curling Club April 20 to 24.
