Cowichan Valley's Bantam AAA Capitals hockey squad celebrates its tournament win in Comox.

The Cowichan Valley Bantam AAA Capitals hockey team won a Tier 1 tournament in the Comox Valley on the long weekend.

Cowichan beat Comox, Mission and North Vancouver to place first after the round robin.

That set up a semifinal meeting with the Juan de Fuca Grizzlies and the Caps won 5-2.

Hollyburn of Vancouver was the opposition for the final.

The Caps trailed 4-2 midway through the third period, but rallied to win 6-4.

Game MVPs for the Caps were: Dawson Haines, Ryan Hogg, Tanner Tiel, Brad Bagnall and Josh Anderson.
