A former long-time area journalist, Ann has spent her retirement involved in her community in several areas, most notably as a trustee on the Cowichan school board. She has been honoured for his historical writing by the B.C. Yukon Community Newspaper Association and currently pens Dateline Cowichan, the paper's look at headlines gone by.
